- Mission Statement
- The Trinity Financial Charitable Fund seeks to enrich the quality of life in low-income and mixed income housing communities by providing grants that support educational opportunities, public service and neighborhood improvements, and create positive social change in creative, inclusive ways.
- Background
- Established in 2006, the Trinity Financial Charitable Fund has supported the following:
* outreach and support to tenant groups and neighborhood organizations, including schools, churches, libraries, cultural/social/multi service-centers and other non-profit organizations engaged in neighborhood improvement
* programs that combat crime and neighborhood deterioration
* scholarships and other financial assistance to children and adults
* encouragement of youth and the general public to participate in civic life
* education of local citizens on issues of interest to the general public
- Procedure for requesting grants
- Applications must be made in writing; indicating the specific need to be met, the dollar amount requested, and the benefit/s that will be generated by the grant. Confirmation of organization’s non-profit status must also be included.
Grants will be considered up to $5,000.
Application requests will be granted quarterly: -
First Quarter Funding: Applications Due January 15
Second Quarter Funding: Applications Due April 15
Third Quarter Funding: Applications Due July 15
Fourth Quarter Funding: Applications Due September 15
- A committee will review each grant request. Decisions are based on the merits of the request, its anticipated benefits, and the availability of funds. Notification of acceptance or rejection will be given within 45 days of the application due date.
